Our Rooms

37In the nineteenth century it was common for the upper class to relocate frequently from one of their residences to another, bringing a nanny, cook and household staff with them. Each residence also had permanent staff looking after the house, the gardens and horses.

Villas build in that époque reflect the related housing requirements. This historical structure has allowed us to offer three distinct sets of rooms – each with its own character.

The Attic Rooms were meant for the traveling staff. They are now converted into cosy rooms with shared toilet and showers. These rooms (either a private room or a shared room) are ideal for business travellers and for those who want to make use of the great infrastructure of Villa Belle Rive while limiting the budget for accommodation.

The generous rooms for the family are now our most luxurious lodgings. They have their private toilet and bathroom, offer a great view over our gardens, the Mediterranean Sea and the pool. The Wing Rooms have generous balconies. These rooms allow for an extra bed. The South Room has two single beds. The bathroom and the room itself offer the best view compared to the other rooms.

The house for the permanent staff has been converted into a vacation home with three bedrooms. It has its own bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room and a great terrace. The house is equipped with washing machine and dryer and the kitchen is more than well equipped.

3737The “East Balcony Room”

This room has two large balconies. One with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and our beautiful gardens at the pool side of the house. The other facing north provides a view of the garden in front of the house. You will find the size of the room to be generous. You have your private shower and bathroom. The other facing north provides a view of the garden in front of the house. It is the mirror version of the “East Balcony Room”, but with its own character. You have your private shower and bathroom. This room is situated on the second floor. Note that there is no elevator. With 10 square metres, the size of the room is suited for single occupancy. The room has a single bed and is facing south. This room is situated on the second floor. Note that there is no elevator. With 16 square metres, the size of the room is generous. The room has two beds which can be booked individually. An similar shared room (3A) of the same size is available in the annexe building the “Petite Maison”. That room is located on the on the first floor. For the shared rooms it is possible to pay a supplement in order to keep the room to yourself.
